The episode begins with Quack swimming with Beaver Boy near his dam. Quack suddenly goes underwater and sees that there are no fish to be found. He asks Beaver Boy how many fish live in the pond, but Beaver Boy doesn't know what a fish is. So Quack tells him to come to his pond tomorrow to see the fish. But Beaver Boy doesn't know how to get to his pond. So Quack tells him the quickest way to get there. Quack then tells the fish about the party they will have tomorrow.

The next morning, Beaver Boy leaves his dam, and goes to find Quack's Pond. Quack meanwhile was waiting a long time. Quack tells the fish that he thinks Beaver Boy doesn't want to come after all. Quack later finds Beaver Boy at his dam. Quack asks Beaver Boy why he didn't come. He says that he walked and walked until his feet got sore. Beaver Boy tells Quack how he tried to get there, but those were the wrong stuff he passed by. Quack tells Beaver Boy the right stuff which are a grasshopper, a cloud, and his feet. Beaver Boy's mother calls Beaver Boy for dinner. Beaver Boy tells Quack that he will be there.

But the next day wasn't any different. Quack still waited a long time. Quack finds Beaver Boy at his dam again. Beaver Boy tells Quack that he tried to find the things Quack told him, but he couldn't find Quack's feet and ended up getting carrots from the rabbits. Chirp tells Beaver Boy that he needs to look for things that don't move. Chirp draws things in the dirt that make good landmarks.

The next day, Quack told the fish about Beaver Boy, but they don't believe him anymore. Beaver Boy looks at the path he will follow and starts going. Once again, Quack is waiting once more. Beaver Boy finds the right landmarks. Finally, he makes it to Quack's Pond at last. Quack finally introduces Beaver Boy and the fish, and they swim together. Beaver Boy invites the fish to swim with him at his dam, but fish can't leave the water. Beaver Boy reveals that Quack's Pond and his dam are connected by a river. The episode ends with Peep saying it proves something, but he doesn't know what.
