Condensed summary[]

Peep, Chirp, and Quack, with the help of Squeak, balance a seesaw in order to reach sunflower seeds.

Expanded summary[]

The episode begins with Chirp seeing some robins eating sunflower seeds from some sunflowers. She tries to wait until she could eat those seeds, until, she saw a sunflower bent down a bit. She tries to jump up to get the seeds, but ends up landing on a piece of wood on top of a rock.

Peep and Quack then come by and Peep asks what Chirp is doing. She says she is thinking of a way to get the seeds. Chirp then gets an idea.

She uses the piece of wood on top of the rock and makes a ramp to get to the sunflower seeds at the top, but as it turns out, it doesn't make a good ramp since it is in the form of a seesaw, and when Chirp got to the other side, she falls and tumbles down. Chirp realises that it would be steadier if Peep and Quack sit on it. Since it is facing the wrong way, Chirp goes back to where she started to fix it. Peep and Quack then sit on one end of the piece of wood, and Chirp walks up to the top, and finally gets to eat the sunflower seeds. Peep wants to try the seeds too, but when he gets to the top, both sides are now balanced, causing Peep and Chirp to come down, while Quack goes up. Chirp comes down, and Quack's side goes back down. Peep goes back up, and tries the sunflower seeds. They were delicious. Peep makes Quack try some, but he says no. Quack claims sunflower seeds are bad for ducks, stating that his family got some stuck in his throat. Chirp then teases Quack for being afraid of heights, but Quack disagrees. Quack decides to show them how not afraid he is, so Peep and Chirp stay on one side, and Quack nervously walks up, but his legs jiggle, causing Peep and Chirp to shake on the piece of wood.

Squeak comes by and asks what is happening. Peep says Quack is trying to prove he isn't afraid of heights. Quack continues going up, but then, Peep and Chirp's side is lifted up, and Chirp falls off, causing Quack and Peep to roll down the other side. Peep and Chirp realize that Quack is heavy as them, that they need to make themselves heavier.

Later on, they get Squeak to help them out. But that still doesn't work since Quack is still not lighter than them, since he is still about the same weight has them. Quack then falls to Peep, Chirp, and Squeak's side, and comes off the piece of wood. Chirp decides they need to make themselves heavier.

So Peep, Chirp, and Squeak hold some pebbles, while some big rocks are underneath them. Quack nervously walks to the top, but before he knew it, he made it, and finally eats the sunflower seeds. Quack was about to eat more, but then, he falls off the edge of the piece of wood. Peep asks Quack if he wants more, but Quack claims that one seed is good enough. He and Peep and Squeak walk home. The episode ends with Chirp watching the robins eating seeds on the sunflower once more, before going home as well.
